QNyx is a post-quantum secure tunnel built for networks that break, drop, and reroute — because real networks do. When links fail, QNyx heals. When quantum computers arrive, QNyx is already ready.
Built from the ground up on NIST-standardized post-quantum cryptography. Data protected by QNyx today stays protected against the quantum computers of tomorrow.
Dropped connections, lost packets, and unstable links aren't failure states — they're expected events. QNyx automatically detects and recovers from a severed connection in under twenty seconds, with no manual intervention.
One small binary. Zero manual network configuration. QNyx assigns and secures its own addressing during the handshake, so it runs anywhere standard internet runs — radio, satellite, 5G, or wired — without the need for traditional DHCP address assignment.
Product — QNyx
Most encrypted tunnels assume a stable connection — and fall apart when they don't get one. QNyx was designed for the opposite assumption: that links will flap, packets will arrive out of order, and the network underneath you will change without warning. Its philosophy is coherence through embracing disruption.
QNyx creates an encrypted tunnel between two points, protecting everything that flows through it — video feeds, sensor data, command traffic, business communications — no matter what kind of connection carries it. It doesn't care whether your data crosses a satellite link, a cellular network, a tactical radio, or a home fiber line. If it speaks internet, QNyx protects it.
QNyx uses the same NIST-standardized post-quantum algorithms selected to protect against future quantum computers, paired with Xaoc's custom HF7 cipher for payload protection. Adversaries recording your encrypted traffic today, hoping to decrypt it later, come away with nothing.
Session keys refresh automatically on a fixed schedule while traffic keeps flowing. No handshake pauses, no tunnel teardowns, no gaps. In testing, QNyx completed over 1000 in-line key rotations without losing a single packet.
Sustained high throughput with well under a millisecond of added latency on ordinary commodity hardware. Full 4K video streams through it in real time.
The entire product is a single lightweight binary, roughly the size of a photo. Clients need no manual network setup at all — addressing is assigned and secured automatically during connection.
Technology
Today's standard encryption relies on math problems that classical computers can't solve in any useful timeframe. Quantum computers change that math. And adversaries aren't waiting: encrypted data is being harvested and stored today so it can be decrypted the moment quantum capability arrives. Anything with a long shelf life — designs, contracts, communications, identities — is already at risk. QNyx closes that window now.
Conventional encrypted tunnels depend on carefully ordered counters and stable sessions; when packets arrive out of order or a link flaps, they can desynchronize or fail. QNyx's HF7 cipher takes a different approach: every packet is protected with fresh randomness, so there's no fragile counter to break and nothing to desynchronize. Disorder in the network simply doesn't matter.
Proof / Deployments
QNyx is tested rigorously in both lab and real-world settings to ensure your network stays flowing.
Global mesh, running now. Xaoc operates QNyx across a live three-continent deployment — everyday proof that the technology holds up across real distances, real ISPs, and real conditions.
Solutions
Command-and-control and sensor traffic protected across degraded, contested, and untrusted links — whichever physical network is carrying it at the moment. QNyx is a submitted candidate for NATO's DIANA 2027 Operational Resilience challenge.
Mining, energy, and industrial operators moving video and telemetry across sites where connectivity is anything but guaranteed.
Long-lived vehicles and infrastructure need encryption that outlives the quantum transition. QNyx secures data in motion for the decades those systems stay on the road.
If your data still matters in ten years, "harvest now, decrypt later" is your problem today.
Roadmap
Production-grade and deployed. High-performance engine, full post-quantum handshake, self-configuring connections, seamless automatic key rotation.
Mesh networking. Extending QNyx from point-to-point links to self-organizing networks of trusted peers that route around damaged or denied connections automatically.
Kernel-level integration for even higher throughput.
